Streaming Video

Carmichael Library offers a variety of streaming video options that can be used by UM students, faculty, and staff.

  • Films on Demand provides access to over 200,000 full or segmented videos.
  • LinkedIn Learning includes courses and video content related to web design, education, technology, business, career development, and job skills.
  • Counseling and Therapy in Video is a smaller specialized collection on the Alexander Street platform.
  • Digital Theatre+ provides access to full-length plays, cast interviews, and lesson plays. It is a great resource for performing arts and English courses.
  • Faculty can request the purchase of individual film titles from Swank and Kanopy.

All streaming videos can be watched in a classroom setting or individually by students, faculty, and staff. The films cannot be streamed in public settings. Further, all videos have accessibility features like closed captioning and/or transcripts.
