Research Consultation
Faculty can point students to help in the library. The Research Consultation link can be embedded in your Canvas course links. 

Faculty may request that a librarian meet with each student in a class for research assistance for an assignment.  If interested in this option, complete the faculty request for instruction and discuss arrangements with the librarian assigned to the class.  

Request a Research Guide
Research Guides are web pages designed specifically for your class and assignments.   A librarian can organize authoritative sources in one web page designed to meet specific research assignments.

The faculty librarians offer information literacy instruction to all students including those enrolled in distance learning courses.  Librarians are available to work with your class to introduce information literacy at the foundation level in the General Education program, advance information literacy skills through courses in the General Education program and in the majors and focus on mastery level information literacy skills in upper-level courses within the majors. 

Faculty teaching graduate courses may request information literacy instruction at any level for students enrolled both on campus and in distance education courses.  

• Please contact the library at least two weeks prior to the desired class period. 
• Requests for instruction without two weeks preparation time will be considered but may not always be accommodated.
