The DML has recently added an HTC Vive Virtual Reality headset. The VR Headset is available for faculty to use in the DML space. If you are considering incorporating the DML’s Virtual Reality equipment into your pedagogy, please contact Michael Price at mprice3@montevallo.edu
In addition to the VR Headset, the DML has added a Samsung Gear 360 Camera. This camera allows users to shoot video or photos in 360 panoramic to create dynamic images and video. The camera will be available for check-out by students and faculty.
The DML has also added a Surface Studio computer. The Surface offers a 27 inch screen surface for photo editing, animation, and drawing. Students can create presentations with the touch screen, which enables the user to control where content goes with the touch of a finger. Keyboard and stylus must be checked out from the DML for use on the Studio. Please contact Michael Price at mprice3@montevallo.edu
