Montevallo High School has been serving the town of Montevallo, Alabama from its current location since 1929. This collection is a repository for the student publications Montala and Spotlight, the yearbook and newspaper, respectively. This project is a joint effort between Montevallo High School, the Montevallo Historical Society, and the University of Montevallo’s Milner Archives and Special Collections.
- MontalaThe Montala is the official yearbook of Montevallo High School. It was first published in 1957 by the Montevallo branch of the National Honor Society.
- SpotlightThe Spotlight is the student newspaper of Montevallo High School. First published in 1938, the newspaper transitioned to a digital platform in 2011.
