Lending Policies
Non-Circulating Material: Audio Material, Reference Materials, Archival Materials and Special Collections. Note: Other "Library Use Only" material, such as Microfilm, Microfiche, New books, older Bound Periodicals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Duration of Loans:
Books are lent for four weeks and renewed for another four weeks. Items may be recalled for a University of Montevallo patron.
Costs: Carmichael Library is a reciprocal lender. We charge what the borrowing institution would charge us. If shipping costs are excessive, the borrowing library may be asked to pay. Libraries will be charged for lost or damaged items. Non-reciprocal libraries will be invoiced or billed through IFM.
